You're 198 behind me, so I think that would have been 5304. Maybe I'm confused. Not hard to do. Glad things are well and back on track. This getting old thing sucks. I'm done 54 pounds since April, and 43 of that has been since the beginning of September when I got serious about it. Still have a long ways to go but very happy with the last 9 weeks. Going to let myself be a bit on Thanksgiving, but back to grind on Friday. My youngest is trying to convince me to do a 5k Thanksgiving morning, but its going to be around 15 that morning and me and the cold do not mesh well. Goal is 30 more by the beginning of February for my Savannah trip.

Dip is not an option Tiger - 2121 - Big props to all the Repeat Offenders. Nick, I too gained weight like a mofo when I first quit. I was willing to put on a few extra lbs to maintain my quit status. I knew that they were just temporary lbs anyway. The great news is, I used my quit as motivation to make other healthy choices in my life. I started running about a year into my quit and haven't stopped. You all can use your quits to do the same at some point. But for now, just focus on the quit.... UncleBubba - 5497

I dipped at home and around my wife but I always hated buying it when she was with me. I should have seen that as a hint I shouldn’t have been dipping in the first place, but nicotine kept me thinking it was ok. Yesterday I found another site, killthecan.org. It has some pretty good reading about what our bodies are going through and what to expect in the coming weeks and months. Welcome to the group claim victory, no caving allowed Bam - Day 20. Welcome Claim Victory. This is a good quit group, we don't let each other down here. I'm having some whacked out dreams. Last night stuck out. RWM -616- day 1 you decide to make a jailbreak and run for the wall. Days 2 through ? are spent climbing the wall. It is a struggle. Plus, there are forces trying to force you back down. You don't know if you can handle the other side, but you can't stay in that cell another day. Once you get to the top of the wall, you have to climb back down. There are some goofy people urging you on, and many are throwing shit. Meanwhile, the Big Voice beckons you back to safety and comfort and the old routine which you've grown to love and hate. NDT. Bubba - 5496 - Congrats on 20 days Bam! ClainVictory - don't look ahead, one day, one hour, one minute at a time. They all add up. Look and read around the site, lot's of inspiration around here. Somehow ole Walt forgot to fucking mention how God damn addictive the shit he was peddling to kids was. He also didn't tell me that his product would later put me on a first name basis with an oral surgeon. So I have a thought.
