Recovery run today https://www.strava.com/activities/1936922603 after my big training week last week.  I probably should not of jumped my mileage up so much but I had to see if my body could handle the stress.  Everything seems ok except for my left calf, it seems kind of pissed at me.  I did not push it today.  We will see what tomorrow brings.  Just great being outside!  Happy Halloween everybody!

Cheers!

Oct. 31 and Nov. 01, 2018: 12.75 MAD

...........................11,025.25 MAD total

Weight: hovering around 183

2018 race schedule:

03.24.18: Forget The PR 50K, Volunteers Run: Complete: 08:30

Good to be back Tiger!  I missed posting up in the group but my life was super consumed most of the year with everything going on.

bflem, nice work man!  That's a solid pace.  I promise you there will be a day when it does not suck...just like quitting the nic bitch

Run yesterday was not good, https://www.strava.com/activities/1938592816 calf was very tender and I could not find a rhythm

Today's run was better.  https://www.strava.com/activities/1940472729  Calf felt really good the first few miles.  I was going slow because I was trying to follow someones gpx file of a route through the presidio but it was a very wonky route and I was staring at the map on my damn watch a lot of the time trying to figure it out.  Then about mile 5 my freaking calf knotted up as I was climbing up a hill and it was painful.  Seemed to work itself out and the last mile and a half it felt decent.  Kind of strained right now.  Hopefully better by the weekend.

Have a great Friday everyone!

Cheers!

Atta boy bflem!  Keep it up.

I had a 14 miler Sat. and a run yesterday and today.  Calves are still not right.  I am going to take tomorrow off.  Do a little run on Thursday.  Friday off.  Hopefully I will be ready Saturday morning to run up Mt. Tam.  I was at a hospital for work today and Mt. Tam was in the background.  Looking at that mother and knowing I will be going from the beach all the way to the top just to start the race is pretty damn freaky!

Cheers!

MILES AGAINST DIP

Have not been able to run for the last week and a half.  The air quality here is horrible due to the smoke from the fires up near Paradise.  Such a tragedy, the whole town was destroyed and when it's all said and done the fatality count is going to be really high.

Nice job bflem and stick!

Been a rough couple of weeks. Battling some nasty congestion that won't go away. I think I finally broke through last night...feeling better today.

Turkey trot is in two days. MY FAVORITE RACE OF THE YEAR!!!!!

Then St Jude's next week. I am officially going to step back to the half marathon. Between sickness and foot issues, my training got derailed.
