Well, it is the 3rd day since I have had any tobacco. I felt really bad yesterday. It almost felt like I was coming down with the flu. My body just felt so tired and my mind just seemed all scrambled up. I was also having some pretty bad cravings. I almost caved yesterday but my wife talked me through it. I am glad she did. I do feel a little better today. My mind seems a little clearer but I am still craving tobacco like mad. I have been laying in bed alot watching movies. I find that takes my mind off my cravings. Anyway, I hope after day 3 things get to be alot better because I will have all the nicotene out of my body then.

You are correct that the nicotine will be out of your system after today, but I must warn you that you will probably not feel "a lot" better tomorrow. You should notice an improvement, but keep in mind that all your body systems have to rework and rewire themselves to operate without nicotine and return to their normal state. You will have the brain fog for a while, too. This takes time, but each day you will feel a little better. Also be aware that once the nicotine physically leaves your body the mind games really kick in.

Stay strong and remember that this initial struggle is well worth the freedom you will gain. That, I can promise you!

djchris, if you're still out there, you should post your promise not to dip today in our october quit group. you've got some people in the group wondering if you're still in the race. hope you are.

Hey Will,
I did post roll call this morning but I guess I did something wrong because my name is not showing up in the roll. I signed in at about 11:30am this morning but when I went back in after you told me I did not sign in I don't see my name. Could you please help me by showing me the proper way to post roll call. I am still dip free after 3 days. I am trying so hard to beat this. Thanks Will. any help you could give me about posting roll would be appreciated.

That is really good, but you should probably not add new topics everyday to the quit methods sub-group, just be active in the October 2008 quit group.
