I can't say I have tried those, but the only thing that ever worked for me was simply not dipping. If it sounds to good to be true..... well, you know how the rest of that saying goes.

Day 671 for me. No gimmicks. No secret potions. No secret withdrawl curing magnets. Simply me making the promise to myself and my quit brothers to not dip today.

Yep, that plus the thought that the guys in Feb 07 and Jan 07 would hunt JJC down and kick his ass if he ever caved! wink.gif

I've never even heard of the "ear magnet" thing. I agree with Jay....just resolve not to use tobacco today, no matter what, then when you wake up the next day, make the same promise. Simple, though not always easy.

my thoughts on this for whatever they're worth -- no tricks, no gimmicks, just put in the hard work. That's the motto in my signature line below.

im sure they're a gimmick...like hypnosis and all the other crap out there thats really about making money and not actually helping people quit.

I know a woman that has magnets stuck on different parts of he body to cure and relieve all sorts of things. Personally, I think it's more superstition than anything else. But the placebo effect probably helps a few folk.
