  1. CONGRATS TO OUR FEB 2009 FELLOW SLAPPER-----13UTG WHO REACHED ONE YEAR TODAY!!!!!!!! ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!!!! WITH GOD, FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND THIS SITE
  2. Blah Blah Blah To each their own! Until messages are answered and respect is mutual..... Blah Blah Blah There is a common respect for anyone that wants to quit. I think what TR is trying to say is that a lot of us post more than just roll call every few days. Those of us that make ourselves available are glad to help those that seriously want help and are serious about the quit. There are those that are not. They come in and say "I am serious this time" and you see the number of posts is 1 - and never hear from them again. I will say that I hope those people CAN and DO quit on their own. I have typed countless words to people that have probably never seen them, because they never came back to the site. That frustrates me, but not to the point that I will stop offering. I know what it took for me to get to this point. I know how many times I was that guy that said "I'm serious this time" but wasn't. It wasn't because I didn't think about it, it wasn't because I really wanted to get cancer or gum disease, but because I am and always will be an addict. We all are, or we wouldn't be here. I will gladly share every "Blah Blah" I have. TR's last expression was tough love. Sometimes that's what we need. I didn't need to be babied. Cancer will not baby us. It will hit any of us and kill us if it can. The addiction is not going to baby us. If we are to handle the addiction, we have to fight fire with fire. No nonsense approach. Real help. Tough love tempered with real care and compassion. Am I wrong? No not at all.... And TR knows exactly what I'm talking about...... Nothing personal Ohioman, actually just b#@$ busting! Sorry to touch a nerve.

  14. just add your name to the roll call list and enter in what you did for exercise that day. you can start at any time. Welcome to the club. Frosty forgot to tell you there is a $100 initiation fee Seriously, get in here, workout, and post. It will be the 2nd best decision you have made (quitting is the first). You may hear a bit about crossfit or some of us doing "Angie" or "Murph" at lunch. Rest assured we are not doing quickies. Rather, it is a free workout program that can be found at www.crossfit.com Good luck. I look forward to seeing your posts. Thanks you! I'm in! I have been putting on the pounds since the quit and have tried starting a program before to no avail. Now I'm ready. Going out of town til Monday but I'm in.
