Tried it with the help of this site and in less than a week I'll be 2000 days.  It can be done, but it's hard work and some people don't want to do the work! RWM - 871 - I had to plan for one hour at a time. I would get through one hour and then reset for the next one and on and on. It surprising how much one can accomplish in an hour without usingnicotine. Also have a quit plan which includes having someone to contact under specific conditions.   9. I had a rough day today as some of you know i sat at a gas station for 30 mins but didnt have the guts to go in so i left drove straight home n been here since staying quit but this quit has been hell hope it gets better

Thinking dip is a friend shows you how wrong our addicted minds think. Great job quitters, keep it up. Gibb13-900- if nothing else, who wants something that totally controls your life? Every decision was made based on having a tin available at all times. I'm back in control. NDT RWM 866 - Craves are weakness leaving the body. Manage them and they become more manageable and continually less frequent. Using any nicotine just gets us back on the addiction treadmill. Starve the beast.

Yes that wont happen right away but over time, after manyhours of pain,suffering, headache and even tears; all of it will be worth it in the end.
